Gulfstream Park Poker Moves to First-Floor Finish Line
Poker at Gulfstream Park successfully made the move from the second-floor Sport of Kings to the first-floor Finish Line Casino this weekend.
“Our players are every bit as comfortable as they were in the Sport of Kings,” said Gulfstream Park’s Poker Room Manager Scott Poole, “and they are that much closer to all the live action when the live races return Jan. 3.”
The Finish Line, just outside Gulfstream Park’s walking ring, is not only home to poker but also to simulcasting and slot machines as well as one of the finest delicatessens in the area.
As before, Texas Hold ‘Em, Omaha Hi-Lo and Seven-Card Stud are featured. Hours remain 1 p.m. – 1 a.m.
With its seamless blend of poker, slots, simulcasting, and comfortable big-screen viewing, the Finish Line will prove to be South Florida's ultimate poker, gaming & sports bar.

Racing Excitement On Track at Gulfstream Park
Be sure to visit Gulfstream Park Saturday, Sept. 27, to watch and wager on Belmont Park’s Jockey Club Gold Cup and four other Grade 1 races. The list of likely starters is topped by Curlin, who won his career debut at Gulfstream Park last year before going on to victories in the Preakness, Jockey Club Gold Cup and Breeders’ Cup Classic, all of which carried him to Horse of the Year honors. A second victory in the Gold Cup would make him the first horse to reach the $10 million plateau in career earnings. On the West Coast, Santa Anita features eight Grade 1 stakes spread over the Saturday and Sunday cards, each with Breeders’ Cup implications.
