An estimated 3,500 people imprinted Gulfstream Park into their memory Tuesday night as the place where they watched returns from the 2008 presidential election.  Radio Station “Hot” 105 FM, WHQT-Miami, hosted a “watch party” in Gulfstream Park’s Sport of Kings room. Nationally syndicated radio personality Michael Baisden hosted the event.  “The new Gulfstream Park was designed with events such as these in mind,” said President and General Manager Bill Murphy. “Of course, horse racing remains the keystone to Gulfstream Park, but a new generation is discovering the versatility of this property, and we at Gulfstream are very proud to host so many people for such an historic event.”
