Gulfstream Park’s Popular Fireworks Show Returns July 3
A bang in its debut last year, Gulfstream Park’s Independence Weekend fireworks show returns Friday, July 3, and this year it will be backed with a specially priced $17.76 all-you-can-eat, All-American buffet; live music and a three-Jeep giveaway.
The buffet will be served in Gulfstream Park’s Ten Palms on the second floor. The comfortable environs of the 1,000-seat restaurant offer a commanding view of both the racetrack and the fireworks display. Ten Palms provides easy access to the casino and poker room.
Chef Kas’ buffet menu will include all the traditional Independence Day fare, such as hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs, corn on the cob, baked beans and apple pie.
Gulfstream Park will be offering indoor and outdoor fun. While Ten Palms will accommodate those who prefer a more formal setting, the tiki huts in the Jameson Jockey Club will host two 45-minute sets from the popular local artist Davie Rey and will also be the setting for the giveaway of three Jeep Liberties.
Ten Palms will be open at 4 p.m.; the music starts at 6:30 and the fireworks begin at 9:15.
