Friday Slot Tournaments!
Every Friday in July and August from noon until 3 pm, Gulfstream Park’s first-floor Finish Line Casino will hold a Free-for-All slot tournament with total prizes of $3,000 in cash and free play. There will be 20 prizes awarded each week, with a weekly grand prize of $1,000. It’s free to enter, but first come, first served.
Gulfstream Park’s first slot tournament, a by-invitation-only affair held Friday, June 27, was sold out days in advance.
“Sign-ups went incredibly smoothly,” said Steve Calabro, Vice-President for Gaming. “It's obviously very popular.”
To play in the free tournaments, contestants must be members of the Good Luck Players Club. Club enrollment is free.
“The Friday tournaments are absolutely the best deal for slot players in South Florida. It’s a free shot at $1,000,” Mr. Calabro said.
Each player will have 10 minutes to score as many points as possible. Estimates are that there will be 150 or so openings available for the tournament.
In addition to the grand prize, there is a $500 cash reward for finishing second with many e-promo prizes as well.
On Sundays Win a Year’s Fill-Up!
Every Sunday in July at 2, 6 and 10 pm, a prize winner will be drawn to receive a year’s worth of gasoline. Player’s Club members using their card will be eligible. Also on Sundays, members of the casino’s Good Luck Player’s Club can earn $25 BP gas cards with 50 points.
