 Career:

  • Returning to Gulfstream Park for the winter after spending the 2007 season in the Northeast.
  • Rode for two seasons in South Florida, cracking the Top 15 in both Gulfstream stints.
  • Has been closely associated as a first-call rider for prolific trainer Scott Lake.
  • First rode for Lake in 1998 when the trainer moved from Penn National to Philadelphia Park.
  • Later followed Lake to Delaware and in 2003.
  • Was runner-up in the Delaware jockey standings that year to Ramon Dominguez, and has remained similarly positioned in both 2004 and ‘05.
  • Biggest victory came in 2000 Salvator Mile Handicap at Monmouth aboard Lake’s Leave It to Beezer.
  • Has also won important stakes at Delaware with Arabians Joyful Love and Ontario H.S.
  • Topped all apprentices in races won in 1992 with 127.
