Fred Brei bought first broodmare in 1972 at Keeneland and raced a small stable in the Midwest before taking a 15-year break from racing to concentrate on his business

Originally intended to be commercial breeders, but ended up becoming one of Florida's most successful small-scale homebred racing breeders.

Won Florida's 2001 and 2004 Needles Award as outstanding small breeder.
