- Developed another leading 3-year-old turf star at Gulfstream in 2007 with Duveen taking the Palm Beach Stakes three years after Romans-trained Kitten’s Joy launched a championship campaign in that race.
- A perennial leader at Churchill Downs, his hometown track.
- Won the Sunshine Millions Distaff at Santa Anita and the 2006 Sunshine Millions Dash at Gulfstream with Joint Effort.
- In 2006 he won the Swale Stakes with Sharp Humor and saddled him to a close runner-up finish behind Barbaro in the Florida Derby.
- Enjoyed a breakout season in 2004, triggered by a successful Gulfstream meet. He capped off that year when Kitten’s Joy (Turf) and Roses in May (Classic) each ran second in Breeders’ Cup races.
- Roses in May came back in 2005 to finish second in the Donn Handicap and win the Dubai World Cup before retirement.
- Kitten’s Joy won the 2004 Eclipse Award as best male turf horse.
