• Veteran trainer on the New Jersey-Florida circuit had his best year in 2004, winning the Monmouth Park trainer’s title and finishing fifth at Gulfstream … Big win that year came in the Sunshine Millions Filly and Mare Sprint when Mooji Moo upset a strong field at 17-1.
• Hills also was top trainer at the Shore in 2002 then tied for third at the Meadowlands meet.
• Runner-up in Monmouth trainer’s standings in both 2001 and 2003.
• Other stakes winners in recent years have included Joe’s Son Joey, Rideouts Patton, Wish It Were, Cousin Gigi, Kissin Jeb,  Stormy Roman, Trueamericanspirit, Toll Taker and Sans the Shadow.
