Equality Florida is the largest civil rights organization dedicated to securing full equality for Florida’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community, with more than 270,000 members statewide and over 75,000 in South Florida. This year, celebrating 20 years of Equality!

In the wake of the mass shooting at Orlando's Pulse Nightclub on June 12, 2016, Equality Florida made a commitment to honor the sacrifice made by the victims by doubling efforts to uproot the anti-LGBTQ bigotry that led to the massacre. The Safe and Healthy Schools Project that resulted, is a pioneering new program to end LGBTQ bias in our local schools. Learn more here:
