Career: He was Gulfstream’s sixth leading rider in wins last winter and finished in the top 10 in money won. Elvis rode Marquet Madness to victory in the Coolbythepool. He was the leading rider at Monmouth in 2011. Won Mac Diarmida for second straight year in 2010 with Presious Passion and Orchid with Speak Easy Gal....Rising star hampered by injuries in 2008 that kept him from building on the momentum of his career year in 2007 that featured a Breeders’ Cup victory and a riding title…Trujillo won his first career meet championship at Calder in 2007 and was battled with Manoel Cruz for the Tropical title through the fall ... Managed only 16 wins at Calder this past summer, but two of them came in stakes races with Golden Spikes ... He teamed with Maryfield to win the inaugural Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint at Monmouth Park in his first career Breeders’ Cup mount continuing a pattern. He won in his first career U.S. race at Hollywood Park in 2001... He won the Forward Gal with Forever Together at Gulfstream in 2007 and finished tied for sixth on the meet.  Other: Graduated from the Laffit Pincay Jr. Jockey School in 2000.
