Career: He won the Breeders’ Cup Ladies’ Classic (G1), Alabama (G1) and Black-Eyed Susan (G2) aboard Royal Delta. Won the Pennsylvania Derby (G2) with To Honor and Serve. He finished fifth in victories in sixth in earnings last winter at Gulfstream. He won the Hal’s Hope (G3) aboard Soaring Empire and The Very One (G3) aboard Keertana. He won Gulfstream’s 2009 riding title and followed up in 2010 by winning the Florida Derby (Ice Box), Appleton (Society’s Chairman) and Suwannee River (Tottie)..Got his U.S. career started at Gulfstream in 2003 and five years later finished third in the standings and pulled down a Grade 1 victory here. He won championships at Tampa Bay Downs and the Meadowlands. He was the first jockey other than Bravo to win the title there in five years ...
