Klarvich Stables

Klarvich Stables was formed in 1993 by Seth Klarman and Jeff Radich, but Klarman maintained the stable after Radich went solo on the West Coast in 2004. Klarvich and Lawrence formed a partnership shortly thereafter. …Klarman, a graduate of Harvard Business School, is the President of a head fund and resides in Brookline, Ma. 
  • Lawrence, a native of Latham, N.Y. and a resident of New York City and Saratoga Springs, N.Y., operates an investment company. 
  • Klarman is a minority owner of the Boston Red Sox. 
  • Klarvich and Lawerence’s Zero Rate Policy captured the Sunshine State Stakes at Gulfstream Park during the 2011-12 season. 
  • They scored their biggest win in the 2011 Hopeful (G1) with Currency Swap, who came back to Saratoga in 2012 to capture the Amsterdam (G2). 
  • The have enjoyed considerable stakes success in 2012 with Balance the Books, who won the With Anticpation (G2) at Saratoga and the Bourbon (G3) at Keeneland; Sum of the Parts, who captured the Phoenix (G3) at Keeneland; and Spurious Precision, who won the Saratoga Special (G3). Tragically, Spurious Precision subsequently suffered a fatal injury.
