Michael Dubb

Michael Dubb is a Long Island, N.Y. residential real estate developer. 
  • Dubb, who was appointed to the New York Racing Association’s Board of Directors in 2008, was reappointed in 2012 to the new NYRA board that is overseen by the state. 
  • He built and donated to the Belmont Child Care Center, known as Anna House, in 2002 and donated an extention to the building in 2011. He serves as the Chairman of the Belmont Child Care Association. 
  • He became involved in ownership after building Anna House. 
  • He was the leading owner at the 2011 Aqueduct spring meeting and finished second at the 2012 Saratoga meeting. 
  • Dubb-owned Ancient Rome visited the Gulfstream winner’s circle during the 2011-12 meeting following his victory in the Spectacular Bid Stakes. 
  • Grace Hall, whom he owns in a partnership, also won the Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2). She won the 2011 Spinaway (G1) at Saratoga. 
  • Dubb has an exciting prospect in My Happy Face,  who broke her maiden by more than 21 lengths at Saratoga before narrowly losing to Dreaming of Julia in the Frizette (G1).
