Career: Walder saddled winners at a 30-percent rate, matching the winning percentages of 10-time champ Todd Pletcher and Michael Maker during the 2012-13 meeting.
 
He tied for fifth in the 2011-12 Gulfstream trainer standings in victories while posting a 31-percent win rate. He won the Gulfstream Park Sprint Championship (G2) with Force Freeze, who had previously finished second (by a neck) in the 2011 Breeders’ Cup Sprint (G1). 
 
Walder claimed Pyramyst for $10,000 in 2007 and saddled the hard-hitting mare for 17 victories, including a $100,000 stakes. 
 
His relatively small stable , which has maintained a 25-percent strike rate since winning his first race with Irish Gal at Woodbine in 1995, is heavily dominated by claimers. 
 
He has consistently ranked among the top trainers in percentage at Gulfstream, Monmouth Park, Arlington Park and Delaware.
