Super Hi 5 Carryover $13,00
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - The 20-cent Rainbow Six went unsolved for the 12th consecutive program Thursday, resulting in a $431,675.51 carryover for Friday’s card.
Heading into the eighth race, the final leg of the multi-race wager, there were no singles, meaning a carryover into the following day was imminent. However, multiple ticketholders each cashed in for $7,339.42 for Thursday’s winning combination of 5-5-2-3-10-7.
The Rainbow 6 jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
The Rainbow Six, which has produced life-changing payoffs, including a $1,079,444.22 payday on March 12, the largest of the 2014-2015 Championship Meeting, has not been hit since March 18, when it paid $210,973. On Friday, the popular bet will consist of the fourth through ninth races.
