The popular multi-race wager went unsolved Sunday for the 20th consecutive program since May 22, when a mandatory payout was held.
There were no tickets with all six winners sold Sunday. Tickets with five of six winners were each worth $874.02.
The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
There were three horses in Sunday’s final leg eligible to crack the jackpot with a victory in the ninth race: No. 6 Summer Scamp, No. 9 Seeking Daily and No. 10 Starship Manhattan, who came the closest of the trio while finishing a distant fourth.
