HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot pool will be guaranteed at $200,000 for Saturday’s Florida Sire Stakes program at Gulfstream Park.
First race post time is 12:45 p.m.
The innovative multi-race wager went unsolved for the 13th consecutive racing day at Gulfstream Park Friday.
The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
Saturday’s Rainbow 6 sequence spans Races 7 through 12 and will include the running of the $200,000 Dr. Fager (Race 11) to kick off the 2015 Florida Sire Stakes season for 2-year-olds sired by accredited stallions standing in Florida. The $200,000 Desert Vixen for fillies will be contested as Race 5. Five other stakes, including the $150,000 Unbridled and the $150,000 Three Ring, will grace Saturday’s card.
The Rainbow 6 jackpot was cracked on July 16 for a $164,483 payoff.
