HALLANDALE BEACH, FL -- The 20-cent Rainbow 6 went unsolved for the 17th consecutive racing day Saturday, producing a carryover jackpot pool of $248,342.70 for Sunday's card.
The Rainbow 6 will span Races 6-11 on Sunday's program.
Multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $6,463.68 Saturday.
The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
The Rainbow 6 Jackpot was last cracked on July 16 for a $164,483 payoff.
Harlan's Darlin Captures Lasix-Free Maiden Test
David Garner's Harlan's Darlin ($8.80) kicked in late under jockey Tyler Gaffalione to overtake pacesetter Above Fashion in Saturday's 11th race, a six-furlong maiden special weight race for 2-year-old fillies not treated with Lasix.
Ralph Nicks-trained Harlan's Darlin had finished third in her 4 1/2-furlong debut July 18 in Gulfstream's first Lasix-free race, won by the Nicks-trained Dancie.
Above Fashion, a runner-up in the Cassidy Stakes July 5, was the 3-5 favorite in a field of nine fillies.
Four more Lasix-free maiden races are included in Gulfstream's condition book for Sept. 5, 6 and 7.
