The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
The popular multi-race wager, which spans the final six races each racing day, went unsolved for the 20 consecutive program Friday, when multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $20,300.86.
The Rainbow 6 jackpot was last cracked on July16, when a unique ticket paid $164,483.32 after the innovative wager went unsolved for eight racing programs.
