Canter for the Cause
has been conducted for several years at Pimlico Race Course, home of the Preakness Stakes (G1), the Middle Jewel of the Triple Crown. Both Pimlico and Gulfstream are properties of The Stronach Group.
“This has been a very rewarding and special event put on by our friends at the Maryland Jockey Club at Pimlico, and we know it’s going to be a truly memorable event here at Gulfstream for all who participate and volunteer,” said Gulfstream Vice President Bill Badgett.
“The TAA is honored to be one of the beneficiaries of this great event, and we’re thankful for Gulfstream Park’s continued support of Thoroughbred aftercare. We encourage everyone in the area to come join us for a fun day of riding on the racetrack,” said Stacie Clark, operations consultant for Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance.
