The Breeders' Cup announced today the wagering menu and post times for the 28th Breeders' Cup World Championships, to be held on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5 at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky. This year's wagering menu on the 15 Breeders' Cup races features an abundance of wagering opportunities including two all Breeders' Cup Ultra Pick Sixes, 10-cent Superfectas, 50-cent Pick 4’s, rolling Pick 3's, a Ladies' Classic - Breeders' Cup Classic daily double and a new Pick 5 wager.

Gulfstream Announces $3 Million In Capital Improvements

   Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino announced August 29 a $3 million capital improvement project that will include the installation of six new Daktronics boards throughout the facility, approximately 250 stadium seats in the Tiki Hut area, and the addition of the Trakus system to enhance video and instantaneously digitize races.

Repole Hoping for Stay Thirsty, 'Mo' Double

Owner Mike Repole could have the post time favorites for the two biggest races at Saratoga on Saturday with Stay Thirsty in the $1 million Travers (G1) and Uncle Mo in the $250,000 Foxwoods King's Bishop (G1). 

Stay Thirsty, seventh in the $1 million Florida Derby (G1), is coming into the Travers off an impressive victory July 30 in the Jim Dandy (G1). Uncle Mo, winner of Gulfstream's Timely Writer, will be making his first start since April after being diagnosed with a live disorder.

Both horses are conditioned by Todd Pletcher and both stabled and trained over the winter at Palm Meadows.
