All Due Respect returned to the state of her birth to capture the $60,000 The Ocala at Gulfstream Park Sunday, defeating five rivals in the stakes restricted to Florida-bred fillies and mares. 

Oaks And Rampart Highlight Saturday's Ladies Day Program

Renewals of the $300,000 Gulfstream Park Oaks (G2) for 3-year-old fillies, formerly known as the Bonnie Miss Stakes, and the $150,000 Rampart Stakes (G2) for fillies and mares, both races run at 1 1/8 miles, highlight next Saturday’s Gulfstream Park card with the $1 million Florida Derby (G1) and three other Graded stakes set for Sunday.
 

R Heat Lightning Drills 'Bullet' For Gulfstream Oaks

Repole Stable’s 3-year-old colts Uncle Mo and Stay Thirsty led a team of stakes talent trained by Todd Pletcher posting workouts Sunday morning at Palm Meadows  while several others from the powerful stable others tuned up for other Graded stakes to be run on Florida Derby weekend next Saturday and Sunday at Gulfstream Park.
 

Rahy's Attorney And Wilson Take Pan American

As Emma-Jayne Wilson urged on Rahy’s Attorney mount at the top of the Gulfstream Park stretch in Sunday’s $150,000 Pan American (G3), the finish line didn’t seem all that far away.

The Canadian-based jockey, who rides regularly at Woodbine with great success, rode her mount with confidence on the Gulfstream turf course while recalling the pre-race words of trainer Ian Black.
