Popular Saturday Morning Breakfast Includes Free Barn Tour
First 200 Guests Will Receive Free Breakfast
Breakfast to be Followed by Free Breeders' Cup Seminar in Ten Palms
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - Breakfast at Gulfstream, a popular Saturday morning tradition which attracts families and racing fans, will return Saturday, November 2 at the Gulfstream Park.
Breakfast at Gulfstream will run from 7-10 a.m. every Saturday through March. To celebrate the first Breakfast at Gulfstream, the first 200 guests will receive free breakfast. The regular price of the all-you-can-eat breakfast is $8. Children under two eat for free.
Parking and admission are always free at Gulfstream Park.
For the fourth consecutive season, the public is invited to enjoy breakfast while watching some of racing's top Thoroughbreds workout before enjoying a free tour of Gulfstream's backstretch and barn area. Breakfast at Gulfstream will once again be hosted by Sandy Bruno, former assistant trainer to Hall of Famer Woody Stephens. Throughout the winter, Bruno will have guests and giveaways.
The first Breakfast at Gulfstream of the 2013-2014 winter season will coincide with the second day of the 30th Breeders' Cup, featuring the $5 million Classic, $3 million Turf, $2 million Mile and six other races with purses totaling $19.5 million. Gulfstream will also offer its regular live weekend racing beginning at 1:15 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
Not only will Gulfstream guests be able to watch and wager on all the Breeders' Cup races live from Santa Anita Park, but Gulfstream will also hold a special Breeders' Cup handicapping seminar Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. in Ten Palms Restaurant with refreshments. Hosted by Gulfstream handicapper Ron Nicoletti, the seminar will also include Hank Goldberg from ESPN and Tom Jicha of Horseraceinsider.com and the Sun-Sentinel.
