Gulfstream To Celebrate July 4th With Free Family Fun And Live Racing

Kid's Celebration Begins at 1 p.m. with Music, Dancing, Arts and Crafts Laser Light Show, Carnival Games and Recognition of all Veterans $100,000 Armed Forces First Summer Stakes Race Special American Buffet in Ten Palms.

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL -  Gulfstream Park will celebrate July 4th with a day and night of free activities featuring live Thoroughbred racing, pony rides, a Kids Play Zone, carnival games, a live band, a salute to veterans and a laser light show.
Festivities will begin at 12:50 p.m. when, for the first time in its 74-year history, Gulfstream will holds its first Thoroughbred race program on July 4th. Gulfstream's signature restaurant, Ten Palms, will offer an American buffet for $24.99 and bottles of Sam Adams beer will be available throughout the day and evening for $4.
Beginning at 12:30 p.m. at both north and south valet, there will be registration for veterans to receive a free polo shirt or hat along with free hot dogs and sodas while supplies last. Guests will be able to register for a $500 drawing between 12:30-4 p.m. in the Breezeway. The winner will be announced July 5 and notified by e-mail or phone.
Between 1-4 p.m. in Champions Plaza, there will be a free 4th of July Celebration for children with face painting, arts and crafts, music and dancing and popcorn and cotton candy. From 5-11 p.m., after the last race of the afternoon, Gulfstream will have a free Kids Play Zone with a rock climbing wall, carnival games and food, pony rides, a live band and a free laser light show.
