Gulfstream Offers Live Streaming of Handicapping, Rainbow 6 Races
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Live streaming of both the daily handicapping show and the 20-cent Rainbow 6 races are currently available on the Gulfstream Park website http://www.gulfstreampark.com.
Christina Bossinakis hosts a 30-minute program prior to every live card offering in-depth analysis of the day’s races. Track handicapper Ron Nicoletti and Mike Welsch of the Daily Racing Form also offer guest commentary on the show, which can be accessed at http://new.livestream.com/accounts/5890429/events/2787215.
With a life-changing carryover jackpot of more than $3 million up for grabs in the Rainbow 6, live action on the final six races each day can be watched online by visiting http://www.gulfstreampark.com/racing/race-info/streaming-pick-6-races.
The popular multi-race wager requires a bettor to hold the only ticket with the winner of all six races to claim the jackpot, which has not been paid in its entirety since being cashed for $30,670.26 on January 10.
For the current Champions meet, the Rainbow 6 had its base wager raised from 10 cents to 20 cents in order to accommodate bettors in Canada who had previously been unable to wager at the former minimum and were ineligible to win the jackpot.
Also, on days when there is no jackpot winner, 70 percent of the betting pool is returned to those ticketholders with the most winners, while 30 percent is added to the carryover pool. The split had previously been 60-40.
The record payoff for the 20-cent Rainbow 6 jackpot is $3,591,245.44, won by a New Jersey bettor on Feb. 22, 2013.
