  HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino announced today they have signed a contract with the Florida Horsemen’s Benevolent & Protective Association (FHBPA) that will run from March 1 through December of 2012.

The current contract expired Feb. 28.

“We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished so far with this partnership,” said Tim Ritvo, VP of Racing, MI Developments, Inc. “By putting this in the past we can move forward and accomplish bigger and better things.”

FHBPA President Sam Gordon said: “We’re very happy we’ve signed a long-term contract with Gulfstream. We will now devote our efforts toward working on the problems within the industry.”
