HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - Miller Racing's My Pal Chrisy, third last time out in the Go for Wand (G2), leads a field of seven fillies and mares in Sunday's $100,000 Ocala at a mile on the main track.           

Trained by Marty Wolfson and ridden by Javier Castellano, My Pal Chrisy, a 5-year-old mare by Alex's Pal, was third in the Ocala last winter. She reeled off three consecutive stakes victories at Gulfstream earlier this year in the Paseana, Musical Romance and Millions Distaff Preview before finishing third in the Go for Wand Nov. 29 at Aqueduct. Wolfson also entered Rock On Baby, second in the Tiara Dec. 7 on Claiming Crown Day, and Devil's Cave.            

E. Paul Robsham Stable's Sweet N Discreet, trained by Todd Pletcher, comes into the Ocala off two consecutive victories at Gulfstream in allowance optional claiming events. Joe Bravo has been named to ride the daughter of Discreet Cat.           

Rounding out the field is Mass Invasion, Princess Malia and Courtney Ryan.                       

Osorio Jr. Finds Winner's Circle in Second Race           

Jockey Jose Osorio Jr., who arrived from Puerto Rico just four months ago, won his first race in the U.S. Thursday when he guided Rontos Racing Stable's Magic Lily to victory in the fourth race.            

"Very happy," said Osorio through an interpreter. "It's very exciting."           

Manny Azpurua, the trainer of Magic Lily, said Osorio started working horses for him several months ago. "He got on a couple horses for me a while back and I liked the way he rode and told him, 'Stick around,' "Azpurua said.           

After getting the customary dousing of water by other jockeys after returning to the jockey's room, Osorio finished fourth in the fifth race aboard Rontos Racing Stable's longshot Spiro Tune.           

Who's Hot:Jockey Corey Lanerie rode a couple winners Thursday. He was aboard Tiz Liberty ($13.80) in the fifth and Kiton ($8.80) in the sixth. Jockey Jonathan Gonzales also rode two winners, Forever Road ($14.20) in the second and Merilore ($11.60) in the ninth.
