Rainbow 6 Guaranteed at $50,000 Thursday

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - You couldn't blame jockey Ramsey Zimmerman if he didn't want the weekend to end.

Beginning Friday afternoon, Zimmerman rode eight winners and ended his weekend by riding the first three winners on Sunday's program. Zimmerman won the early double with War Classic ($8.80) in the first and Quarton Lake ($6) in the second before scoring a natural hat trick with Classic Surge ($8.20) in the third.

Zimmerman, who took off 2013 due to personal issues, is currently the second-leading rider at Gulfstream behind Edgard Zayas and well ahead of the remaining jockey colony.

"I'm happy," Zimmerman said. "I'm working hard and I love it here."
