Lead: Gulfstream Park's Saturday afternoon program, featuring the $300,000 Gulfstream Park Handicap (G2) with Breeders' Cup Classic winner Fort Larned, will also feature a 10-cent Rainbow 6 carryover of $414,264,01.
The Rainbow 6 is paid out when there is only one unique winning ticket with the winner of all six of the day's final races. There were numerous tickets Friday with six winners. Those tickets were worth $1,082.61.
The Gulfstream 'Cap will mark the first start of 2013 for Fort Larned, who won the $5 million Classic Nov. 3 at Santa Anita Park. The 5-year-old will be opposed by Gulfstream Sprint Championship (G3) winner Fort Loudon, Gulfstream Sprint Championship runner-up Swagger Jack, and Discreet Dancer, who finished third in the 2012 Fountain of Youth (G2).
On Sunday, Gulfstream will play host to amateur and professional photographs during Photo Day, a free event in which photographers of all levels will get to shoot morning workouts from the winner's circle while receiving free tips from Gulfstream's award-winning photographer Adam Coglianese. Photo Day runs from 7:30-10 a.m.
From 11 a.m. through noon Sunday, Gulfstream's jockeys will sign a free jockey's poster in the walking ring.
Who's Hot: Jockey Joel Rosario, who received the Prime Jockey Award Friday for riding 13 winners from Feb. 22 through March 7, rode two more winners, Capetown Devil ($7.60) in the fourth and Sly Warrior ($9) in the eighth.
