Gulfstream, Palm Meadows Runners Win 9 of 15 Graded Stakes at Keeneland
Jockey Paco Lopez Rides Four Winners
Rainbow 6 Carryover Sunday $5.6 Million
 
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - When Keeneland concluded its 15-day spring meet Friday afternoon, nine of its 15 graded stakes were won by horses who wintered or raced at Gulfstream Park or its satellite training facility Palm Meadows in Palm Beach County.
 
Horses who won graded stakes at Keeneland after wintering and/or racing at Gulfstream were Medal Count (G3-Transylvania), Room Service (G1-Ashland), Hard Not to Like (G1-Jenny Wiley), Judy the Beauty (G1-Madison), Ready to Act  (G2-Beaumont), Mr. Speaker (G3-Coolmore Lexingto), Frac Daddy (G3-Ben Al), Inimitable Romanee (G3-Bewitch) and Unitarian (G2-Dixiana Elkhorn). 
 
Other horses who left Gulfstream and won graded stakes out of town this spring have included Wicked Strong (G1-Wood), Danza (G1-Arkansas Derby), Palace Malice (G2-New Orleans Handicap), Intense Holiday (G2-Risen Star), and My Miss Sophia (G2-Gazelle). 
 
Who's Hot: Jockey Paco Lopez rode four winners Saturday, including Itsmyluckyday ($3) in the $75,000 Best of the Rest. His other wins came in the second with Tryer ($6.60), the fifth with Capriccio Blue ($10.40), and the sixth with Classic Point ($6.80)  Meanwhile, jockey Gabriel Saez had a hat trick with wins in the first with Mr d'Oro ($3.60), the third with You Never Learn ($3.40), and the seventh with Dashing David ($15). 
 
Rainbow 6 Continues to Grow:
 
With no single winning ticket Saturday in the Rainbow 6, Sunday's carryover in the 20-cent wager will be $5,617,230.23.
 
The multiple winning tickets with six winners (8-3-6-3-8-8) Saturday returned $670.58.
