HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - My Pal Chrisy, third in the Princess Rooney Handicap (G1), and Capitalism At Risk, who has won six of eight starts this year, were entered for Saturday's $100,000 Paseana at Gulfstream Park.
 
The Paseana, for fillies and mares at six furlongs, drew a field of five. My Pal Chrisy followed up her third-place finish in the Princess Rooney with a second-place finish July 20 in the $75,000 Nancy's Glitter. The 5-year-old mare was one of two horses entered by trainer Marty Wolfson, who also entered Bringingdown Babel.
 
Capitalism At Risk, trained by Herman Wilensky, won the U Can Do It at Calder June 8 before finishing 11th in the Princess Rooney. The 6-year-old mare returned Aug. 2 to win a starter optional claimer at Calder.
Latin Rocks and Isabelle's Thunder round out the field.
 
Ward, Gonzales Heat Up
 
Jockey Jonathan Gonzales had four winners Sunday. His winning mounts came in the second with Bold Distinction ($14.80), the sixth with Utootweet ($6.60), the seventh with Happy to Be Here ($12.60) and the 10th with Indy Breeze ($12.80). Gonzales could have had four but he was disqualified from first to second in the fourth race aboard D K Edge for causing interference down the stretch with Gold Vegas.
 
Trainer Dennis Ward was in the winner's circle twice Sunday with Monroe Court ($28.80) in the fifth and in the ninth with Blameshifter ($13.40), who was put up from second when unofficial winner Heiko was disqualified for jockey interference.
 
Lunarwarfare, who broke his maiden at Gulfstream July 14, finished fourth in Sunday's Saratoga Special (G2).
