Cooking & Travel Show by Gulfstream Chef to Reach National Audience
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Gulfstream Park’s Executive Chef and Vice President of Hospitality, Ralph Pagano, will go national Wednesday evening when his television show Pressure Cook debuts with back-to-back episodes on the Travel Channel at 11 p.m.
Pressure Cook, which has previously aired on National Geographic and SKY Network, was a recent acquisition by the Travel Channel for syndication. In each episode, Pagano gets a one-way ticket to an undisclosed international location, gets three days to immerse himself in the local culture, and earn a trip home by making magic in the kitchen.
In Wednesday’s debut, Pagano “puts on his parka in the Andes Mountains of Chile, where he has high hopes of using his cooking skills to earn a plane ticket home,” according to the Travel Channel. At 11:30 p.m., Pagano “must find his inner Aloha to make a mysterious meat taste magnificent.”
A life long horse player, Pagano joined Gulfstream in October of 2011 after serving as executive chef at STK Miami in South Beach. Pagano is known worldwide from his appearances on Pressure Cook, Iron Chef America and Hell’s Kitchen.
