HALLANDALE BEACH, FL - Gulfstream Park, the winter and summer home of dozens of Breeders' Cup participants, will celebrate the 30th Breeders' Cup World Championship Nov. 1-2 with drawings, giveaways and a handicapping seminar.
Guests can watch and wager on the 14 Breeders' Cup races throughout Gulfstream on Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2. Seats can be reserved in Silks by calling 954.457.6201. Gulfstream will also hold live racing on both Saturday, Nov. 2 and Sunday, Nov. 3.
Gulfstream handicapper Ron Nicoletti and Hank Goldberg of ESPN and WFTL Sports will hold a seminar Saturday at 10 a.m. in Ten Palms to go over the Breeders' Cup and Gulfstream programs. Nicoletti and Goldberg will be joined by Tom Jicha of Horseracinsider.com and the Sun-Sentinel. Refreshments will be served.
Gulfstream Park Advantage Members can begin registering Friday for three drawings to take place before Saturday's Breeders' Cup Classic. The winners of the drawing will receive a $1,500, $300 or $150 wager on the Classic, featuring Gulfstream alumni Donn Handicap winner Graydar, Sunshine Million Classic winners Ron the Greek and Mucho Macho Man, defending champion Fort Larned, Flat Out and Palace Malice.
Guests can register to become a Gulfstream Park Advantage Member at the customer service desk Friday and Saturday in Silks. Also on Saturday, guests buying a Gulfstream program will receive a free Breeders' Cup/Gulfstream Park t-shirt.
Parking and admission is always free at Gulfstream Park.
