R Heat Lightning Drills 'Bullet' For Gulfstream Oaks

Repole Stable’s 3-year-old colts Uncle Mo and Stay Thirsty led a team of stakes talent trained by Todd Pletcher posting workouts Sunday morning at Palm Meadows  while several others from the powerful stable others tuned up for other Graded stakes to be run on Florida Derby weekend next Saturday and Sunday at Gulfstream Park.
 

Rahy's Attorney And Wilson Take Pan American

As Emma-Jayne Wilson urged on Rahy’s Attorney mount at the top of the Gulfstream Park stretch in Sunday’s $150,000 Pan American (G3), the finish line didn’t seem all that far away.

The Canadian-based jockey, who rides regularly at Woodbine with great success, rode her mount with confidence on the Gulfstream turf course while recalling the pre-race words of trainer Ian Black. 

Women's Handicapping Seminar And Florida Derby Preview April 1

Join the ladies of FATE (Females Are Thoroughbred Enthusiasts) April 1 between 2-7 p.m. in the Presidential Suite at Gulfstream Park for a handicapping seminar and an explanation of betting strategies for all the big races during Florida Derby Weekend.

Bowman's Causeway Set For Florida Derby Start

Trainer Patrick Biancone confirmed Friday that Bowman’s Causeway will run in the $1 million Florida Derby (G1) at Gulfstream Park on April 3.
The French-born trainer said his 3-year-old colt’s third-place finish in a mile allowance race on March 19 will set him up for a strong run in Gulfstream Park’s signature stakes, a major prep for the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs on May 7.
 

Musketier A Happy Camper For Attfield
