Short legs. Big dreams. Corgi races are coming Saturday, October 10.
The Shortest Race on the Track: Corgis Dash at Gulfstream Park
Gulfstream Park will host a special Corgi Race event, the Coastal Corgi Classic, on Saturday, October 10, offering a unique, family-friendly entertainment feature to complement the live racing program. The event will showcase registered corgi dogs competing in a series of short, controlled sprint races conducted under strict safety, operational, and animal welfare guidelines on the dirt track.
Bring your family and friends for a fun-filled day at the track and get ready to cheer on your favorite short-legged racer.
Corgi race times will be announced soon - please check back 5-7 days prior to race day for full schedule. First horse racing post is 12:20 PM - corgi races will take place in between so plan to arrive in advance.
Please note: race entries are currently full. All registered participants have been notified by a Gulfstream Park representative with confirmation. If you're an owner who submitted an entry, but have not been contacted to confirm registration and participation, we kindly ask that you refrain from showing up with your Corgi.
Registered Corgi owners are encouraged to bring a costume for their furry friends to participate in the Corgi Halloween costume contest, which will be held approximately one hour prior to the first Corgi race. Prizes to be awarded for best costume.
