All Turf Summer Sweep Pick 5 Sunday Featuring Gulfstream, Kentucky Downs

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Gulfstream Park’s Summer Sweep Pick 5 Sunday will be an all-turf wager that will include $1.5 million Kentucky Downs Ladies’ Marathon and $500,000 One Dreamer.
The afternoon also includes an estimated pool in the 20-cent Rainbow 6 of $75,000.
The Summer Sweep Pick 5, a player-friendly, retail only wager with a 15-percent takeout and $1 minimum, begins at approximately 3:50 ET with the first two races in the sequence at Gulfstream.
Race 7, an allowance optional claimer at a mile for fillies and mares, drew a field of nine including 2-1 favorite Competitive Market. The 4-year-old filly makes her first start for Jose D’Angelo after being saddled in her first six starts by Chad Brown. The filly was purchased for $180,000 in July after being purchased by Klaravich Stable as a yearling for $400,000. Brutally Honest makes her first start since July of 2025 after a pair of third-place finishes at Woodbine. Mark Casse trains.
Race 9 is a maiden optional claimer for fillies and mares going 1 1/16 miles. Intricity (9-5) was second on the turf last out, a neck in front of Knows Everything (2-1), who is also entered here. Theoretical goes first time off the claim for Nolan Ramsey.
Both races Race 7 and 9 will also be part of the Rainbow 6.
The final three legs of the Summer Sweep are Races 8, 9 and 10 from Kentucky Downs. Race 8, the One Dreamer at 1 1/16 miles, drew a field of six including 9-5 favorite and graded stakes winner Hang the Moon for trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. The Ladies’ Marathon, at 1 5/16th miles, has a field of nine led by even-money favorite Stellify, fourth last out in the Beverly D (G2).
