
Gulfstream’s Week Begins Thursday with $50,000 Estimated Rainbow 6 Pool

Graded Stakes-Placed Dilger, Of a Revolution in Saturday’s Big Drama
HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Gulfstream Park begins a four-day race week Thursday with a nine-race program, a pair of turf races, and an estimated pool in the 20-cent Rainbow 6 of $50,000.
First race post is 12:50 ET. The Rainbow 6 begins at 2:26 ET with Race 4, a 5 ½ furlong claiming event on the Tapeta for fillies and mares. If the Rainbow 6 is not hit before Sunday, the estimated pool of the mandatory Rainbow 6 is expected to be approximately $750,000. The Sunday sequence begins with Race 4 at 2:19 ET.
Saturday’s program will feature the $75,000 Big Drama at seven furlongs on the main track. The Big Drama drew a field of seven including Dilger, third last time out in the Carter (G2), and Of a Revolution, who makes his fifth start since 2022.
Thursday’s second race at Gulfstream is a $70,000 maiden special weight event at five furlongs on the turf with 11 of the 12 starters making their debuts. Trainer Patrick Biancone, who won the Royal Palm Juvenile Fillies with Lennilu and finished second in the Royal Palm Juvenile with Squire, will send out Emerald Ember, a $75,000 daughter of Leinster.
Ripple is a homebred daughter of Curlin’s Honor trained by Jorge Delgado for Arindel. Chispuda goes out of Mary Lightner and is by first crop sire Chance It. Lightner will also saddle Hot Cocoa, also by Chance It.
