HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – A 20-cent Rainbow 6 mandatory payout will be in the offing Sunday at Gulfstream Park, where the jackpot pool is expected to grow to an estimated $1.25 million.

The popular multi-race wager went unsolved Saturday for the 11th racing day in a row, creating a $134,689.85 carryover going into Sunday’s Rainbow 6 betting.

In the Rainbow 6, the jackpot pool is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

Gulfstream Analysts Ron Nicoletti and Brian Nadeau break down the sequence for Sunday’s 20-cent Rainbow 6 mandatory payout.
