HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 jackpot pool will be estimated at $150,000 when the Royal Palm Meet resumes with an eight-race program Thursday at Gulfstream Park.

Thursday’s sequence covers Races 3-8, opening with a 5 ½-furlong claimer for maidens 3 and up sprinting 5 ½ furlongs on the all-weather Tapeta. R Money Moves breaks from the rail in a field of six having finished second or third in all five of his prior starts for trainer Jose Garoffalo.

Race 5 is a starter allowance going 1 1/16 miles on the Tapeta for fillies and mares 3 and older. Rachels Song, third or better in eight of 10 starts with three wins, returns to the synthetic and stretches back out around two turns after running third in a March 21 turf allowance.

Seven sophomores are entered in a seven-furlong allowance for Florida-breds in Race 7 led by Joey Muscles, exiting a third in Gulfstream’s six-furlong Hutcheson March 15. The Khozan colt has been third four times in nine starts, including last summer’s Proud Man and another state-bred allowance Jan. 23, also at six furlongs.

In the Rainbow 6, the carryover pool is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool usually goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

The Rainbow 6 has gone unsolved for four racing days following a mandatory payout of $6,047.50 April 13.

There will be a carryover of $8,718.74 in the $1 Super High 5 (Race 8).

White Abarrio Returns to Gulfstream Park Work Tab Sunday

Multiple Grade 1 stakes winner White Abarrio returned to the Gulfstream Park work tab with an easy three-furlong breeze in 39.14 seconds Sunday over the main track.

The 6-year-old son of Race Day is coming off a sharp 5 ¼-length victory in the Ghostzapper (G3) on the March 29 Curlin Florida Derby (G1) undercard. The 2022 Curlin Florida Derby and 2023 Breeders’ Cup Classic (G1) winner launched his 2025 campaign in style while winning the $3 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1) by 6 ¼ lengths Jan. 25.

C2 Racing Stable LLC, Gary Barber, and La Milagrosa Racing Stable LLC’s White Abarrio is being pointed toward the Metropolitan Handicap (G1) June 7 at Saratoga. It will be the third Met Mile attempt for the $6.9 million earner after finishing third in 2023 and fifth in 2024.
