HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – Woodslane Farm’s veteran homebred Wolfie’s Dynaghost breezed a half-mile Sunday ahead of his next assignment in the $200,000 Fort Lauderdale (G3) Dec. 20 at Gulfstream Park.

The 7-year-old gelding went four furlongs in 49.55 seconds over a firm turf course at Palm Meadows, Gulfstream’s satellite training facility in Palm Beach County. The time ranked fourth-fastest of 40 horses at the distance.

Wolfie’s Dynaghost enters the 1 1/8-mile Fort Lauderdale, local prep for the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf (G1) Jan. 24, off a front-running 2 ¾-length triumph in the Nov. 8 River City (G3), contested at the same distance, in his first start for trainer Brian Lynch.

Overall, Wolfie’s Dynaghost owns 13 wins, nine in stakes including the 2023 Autumn (G2), and $1.23 million in purse earnings from 31 career starts.

“Let’s hope we’re far from being done,” Lynch said. “He’s certainly got us going in the right direction and we’re excited about running him back here in the Ft. Lauderdale.”

Lynch also worked Stone Farm homebred Litigation a half mile on the Palm Meadows turf in 49.40 seconds, third-fastest of the day, ahead of the $125,000 Janus on the Dec. 20 undercard.

Thursday’s Rainbow 6 Jackpot Pool Estimated at $275,000

The 2025-2026 Championship Meet resumes Thursday at Gulfstream Park with a eight-race program and a 20-cent Rainbow 6 jackpot pool estimated to reach $275,000.

First race post time is 12:20 p.m.

The popular multi-race wager went unsolved Sunday for the ninth consecutive racing day following multiple mandatory payouts of $13,268.58 Nov. 29. Thursday’s sequence covers Races 3-8, opening with a seven-furlong claiming sprint for 3-year-olds and up

Sneak Preview looks to make it two straight after winning first off the claim for trainer Carlos David Nov. 21, his third victory from eight starts this year. Also exiting a win is Endrick, who was claimed out of a three-quarter-length triumph going six furlongs Dec. 4.

Race 6 is a starter allowance for fillies and mares 3 and up sprinting 5 ½ furlongs on the all-weather Tapeta course. Maranta won at the course and distance Nov. 23 in just her third and most recent start. Garuda, who will break alongside rail-sitting Maranta in Post 2, did the same later on the same card for her fourth career win. Denver’s Alley was a front-running winner Nov. 9 and is 4-for-10 lifetime on Tapeta.

The Race 7 feature is an optional claiming allowance for Florida-bred fillies and mares 3 and up going five furlongs on the Tapeta. City Minute graduated by a nose in a maiden special weight Nov. 27 at the course and distance for leading trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. Sol Hope owns six career wins, all on turf, and is winless with two thirds in six tries on synthetic. After three straight dirt races Foggy Note is back on Tapeta where earned all four of his wins.

In the Rainbow 6, the jackpot pool is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
