Pick 5 Offers $20,682 Carryover Pool for Friday

Travers Day Advance Wagering Available Friday At Gulfstream

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL –The 20-cent Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot pool will stand at $419,278.16 for Friday’s program at Gulfstream Park after the popular multi-race wager went unsolved Thursday for the 23rd consecutive program.

Multiple tickets with all six winners were each worth $15,115.48 Thursday.

The Rainbow 6 carryover jackpot is paid out only when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.

The Rainbow 6 jackpot was last cracked on July16, when a unique ticket paid $164,483.32 after the innovative wager had gone unsolved for eight racing programs.

 Friday’s six-race sequence will span Races 5-10.

There will also be a $20,682.30 carryover for Friday's 50-cent Pick 5, which will span races 6-10.

Travers Day Advance Wagering Available Friday at Gulfstream

Advance wagering on Saturday’s Travers Day program at Saratoga will be available Friday at Gulfstream Park.

Triple Crown champion American Pharoah’s appearance in the Grade 1 Travers Stakes will highlight Saturday’s program, which will also feature Gulfstream-based Sheer Drama’s bid for back-to-back Grade 1 stakes victories in the $750,000 Personal Ensign. Wildcat Red, the 2014 Fountain of Youth (G2) winner and Florida Derby (G1) runner-up, is slated to run in the $700,000 Forego (G1).

Silks, Gulfstream’s state-of-the-art simulcast facility, will open at 10:30 a.m. Saturday to accommodate Saratoga’s special 11:45 a.m. first-race post time.

Saturday's first-race post time for Gulfstream's live 12-race program will be 12:45 p.m.
