1/29/2025

HALLANDALE BEACH, FL – The 20-cent Rainbow 6 will have an estimated pool of $75,000 when racing resumes Thursday with a nine-race program beginning at 12:20 ET.

The sequence, which begins with Race 4, includes a $94,000 maiden special weight event for 3-year-old fillies and a $95,000 allowance optional claimer for 3-year-olds.

The sixth race, the third leg in the Rainbow 6 sequence, has nine maiden fillies going seven furlongs. WinStar Farm’s Keepsake is the 8-5 favorite after two runner-up finishes at Keeneland and Churchill Downs last fall for trainer Brad Cox. Todd Pletcher sends out two in Blueberry Hill, making her debut, and Taratel, who enters off a third-place finish at Aqueduct in November.

The featured eighth race, a $95,000 allowance optional claimer for 3-year-olds at 1 1/16-mile features Cash Run runner-up Paradise City along with Indeed, who broke his maiden here Dec. 27 in his first trip around two turns for trainer Todd Pletcher. Decadent won his debut at Gulfstream for trainer Ken McPeek Dec. 29 and Beauty Reigns enters off a sixth-place finish in the Demoiselle (G2) for trainer Bill Mott.

The Rainbow 6 jackpot pool is only paid out when there is a single unique ticket sold with all six winners. On days when there is no unique ticket, 70 percent of that day’s pool goes back to those bettors holding tickets with the most winners, while 30 percent is carried over to the jackpot pool.
